Astrological Magick of the Moon

There is a lot of folklore about the Moon in particular the Full Moon has been linked to crime, suicide, mental illness, disasters, accidents, birth-rates, fertility, and appearance of werewolves, among other things. Modern folklore has it that full Moons make for better parties and higher booking rates at mental hospitals, but all the serious studies tend to deny such relationships.

However, what we do not fully understand is how it affects our spiritual side and how we can use its mystical power to achieve what we wish. So, let us leave folklore aside and concentrate on the ancient lore of astrology, for ancient astrologers recognised the conjunction, square and opposition of the Sun and Moon as unfortunate, and claimed that when the lights of heaven are in bad aspect there is a state of imbalance in all mundane and human affairs.
